When we are feeding RaaW pet food to our furry friends, we are feeding them a natural, species appropriate diet consisting of various goodies like human grade raw meat, edible bones, organs, fruit and vegetables. We have made our RaaW pet food with love, care and attention to detail, ensuring a delicious and nutritious meal in every bowl!
Not only is feeding RaaW a way to improve your pet’s health, but it can also help prevent possible future illness! Feeding your pet an all-natural, well-balanced RaaW diet may show big improvements in their health and behaviour. Some of the health improvements you may notice once you switch your pet over to a RaaW diet may be:
It’s so easy! The great thing about the RaaW diet is that you can get started straight away. You can start feeding RaaW to your puppies and kittens from weaning, but transitioning at any stage of life is no problem at all.
We recommend switching over a period of 7-10 days. It’s very simple to switch – take a spoonful (10-15% of the food) out of the current diet out and replace it with a spoonful of RaaW pet food. Continue doing this over a period of 7-10 days, until you are only feeding RaaW. We usually don’t recommend mixing dry food/processed food with RaaW, but this is an easy way to allow your pet to get used to their new food! Until your pet’s bowl is 100% RaaW, mixing the foods won’t allow your pet to get all the yummy benefits from their RaaW food. You can also use a probiotic and digestive enzyme while you help your pet transition.
If you notice your pet beginning to have slightly looser stools, slow down the transitioning process to allow their stomach to adjust to the change. Then continue with the switching process. If you have any questions about transitioning your pet, please contact our team!
All pets are unique and need to be fed according to their size, metabolism and lifestyle. Use our feeding guide to help you determine how much you should be feeding your pet. We recommend feeding your pet two times a day. Find out more
No, we don’t recommend mixing! Mixing would mean that you would not see the full benefits of the RaaW diet. If you would like to know more, have a read through our articles in the Blog! Our nutritionist has explained everything in more detail!
Don’t worry! RaaW is a moisture rich diet, different from a dehydrated kibble food, meaning you may notice your pet drinking less from its water bowl. If you have concerns over your pet’s water intake, please speak directly to your vet.
Feeding your pet a RaaW diet allows them to digest the maximum amount of nutrients from their food. This means that most of the RaaW food is being broken down and utilized by your pet, creating minimal excrement and reduced odor.
